“I was sceptical, because the last thing I bought that promised to keep something cold was a gimmick. Sun on the toolbox from seven, opened it at four and the top pouch was still fridge-cold. The lid takes a proper turn to open with gloves on, which is my only note.”

“I work doubles behind a bar in August with no air conditioning. With a normal can, the last few pouches of the night are warm and taste flat. With this one, the pouch I take at midnight is as cold as the one I took at four. It is bulkier than a plastic can and sits a little awkwardly in an apron pocket, but I got used to that within a week.”

“Lives in the tool bag. It has come off a bench at least twice and there is a scuff on the lid and nothing else. Four months in now. I put the pack in the freezer with the phone on charge and it is still cold when I knock off at half three.”

“It took me a week to remember to swap the pack in the morning. Now it sits with the keys. It is heavier than a plastic can, which I noticed for about a day and then stopped noticing.”

“Six or seven opens a day since March. The threads are still smooth and the O-rings have not gone tacky. A cold pouch at hour six of a load-in is a small thing that turns out not to be small.”
